Read from September 10 to 16, 2012 , read count: Once (so far!)

Dr. Darren Keil is a blend of Harry Dresden and Batman!

At the beginning I thought of Darren Keil, in his large hat and long coat, roaming the night in search of something evil, as a non-magical Harry Dresden. Once the properties of his suit and the technology behind it were unveiled, I thought of Batman with his utility belt and fantastic toys. In reality, Darren stands apart as a genius, wanting to do the right thing, who will stop at nothing.

Darren is a man on a personal mission, fueled by a difficult life. He intends to take the Orchard back from the thieves and thugs that plague it. But his need for justice goes overboard, calling attention to himself more than he intends. His goal is to be invisible, but his actions unmask him and the police hunt for the vigilantly rogue steps up a notch. Then the Tones, a high-tech, nationwide crime syndicate, bring disaster to his plans and destroy everything he has worked so hard to build. They kill his best friend and business partner Adam and capture his new friend Corrine. With everything destroyed, he's on the run with few places to hide.

In the end, the mysterious Walter Rocaena and his shadowy company step forward to help save Darren and Corrine. To Darren's dismay, Walter reveals the deceptive ways he guided Darren's actions. They part as friends, but Darren must continue his destiny.

Will Darren change the city? Will Darren change the world? To be continued…
