Everyone has a bad day but when it seems as if nothing ever goes right in your life it adverserly affects you. This is a story of struggle to overcome feelings of loss and hopelessness and of courage, to break free from the past. Helen struggles with her past, her mother dies when she was fourteen, her father left home, and she was raised by a A+ type personality sister who could do no wrong. This is a difficult path for anyone to walk but one would hope that now that Helen has married her soul mate she has a chance for happiness. Unfortunately this is not the case, for years Helen and Tim struggle with infertility to the point that their relationship is crumbling.

Thankfully Helen is a bit of a fighter herself and refuses to be brought down by circumstances. She struggles to bring her family together. She wants the fairytale life, adoring parent, loving spouse, happy children etc. She almost has it all and then a twist of fate which would bring anyone to the knees occurs. Although there are missteps and she falters at times Helen is the true heroine, she manages to "have it all", all that life will allow.
