As this was written in 1925, it may be the first example of chick lit. An absolutely classic play and movie. I realize now, after starting it, that this is actually two books. I finished Gentlemen Prefer Blondes but find I needed take a Lorelei Lee break before continuing with the next book. Definitely funny, though. I kept hearing Marylin Monroe's voice in my head when Lorelei was speaking.

The Introduction to the book, by Anita Loos, was also fun to read.
