it was amazing
bookshelves: literature, favorite-books

one of my all time favorite books. although the bulk of th story cetners around the racial climate in the deep south, the story of boo radley is my favorite. scout has become one of my favorite characters in literature. i am sad that harper lee didnt write more, i like to think that the sweet and simple yet eloquent writing came from being the sidekick of truman capote, although i may be crediting where credit isnt due. this is really a timeless book, and a re-readable one at that.
