You: The Owner’s Manual is a general health and wellness book. The book goes through all of the major organs describing functions, problems with, and how best to take care of. It was written not to be on the cutting edge of health science but more of a health for Dummy’s book. It did all this and even through in a little humor along the way.

The only criticism I have is the amount that the authors pushed supplements. At times I felt like I was in a timeshare sales pitch. I probably would not have thought twice about it but I have recently read In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. He is very hard on supplements and argues that the best way to get the nutrients that you need is by eating food containing nutrients. If you want any more information on this subject READ the Book.
