Reuben Land's father has extreme faith in God and can possibly perform miracles. Reuben's brother Davy shoots and kills two teens who are harassing his family. Davy breaks out of jail and is on the run. The family follows. A good coming of age story with a dark good versus evil section towards the end. Great writing style.
