The newest book in the In Death series didn't disappoint. I thought it was a good book. The book stayed interesting through the entire book and though I had an idea of who did it I wasn't 100% sure until the right time.
Thankfully all the regular crew are present in this book which always makes for a better story. Dr. Mira is seen more than normal which I thought was great as I LOVE Dr. Mira, she's an awesome character. There were equally great scenes with Peabody and Somerset that were a little out of character but fit well in the story.
I did have a litte problem with the final scene and capture of the bad guy. (view spoiler)[ I think if you're a member of the police force then you are a member of a team and I don't care for all the times throughout this series where LT Dallas goes completly against the book and ends up apprehending the bad guy all by herself, when in reality what she did would have made the situation worse. It would be nice to see the teams do there jobs and not every single take down be all about Eve. It is just a peeve I have. (hide spoiler)]
Also, I didn't get the over use of Dallas getting the little sayings wrong. I get she always does from time to time but this book was full of them. It didn't get annoying but after a while i got to thinking that Eve usually isn't this dumb.
I really enjoyed this book.
