This book is one of the starting points that kinda starts a new age.. like Principia Mathematica..
I came to know Smith had a troubled childhood and lost his dad before he was born. He was raised with his mother's influence and values, was weak physically to take part in sports which pushed him in research and thinking... and many such things about this Darwin-of-Economics...
Although it's said that modern economics was started in China long before Smith, but for the world, Smith is the guy who gave us the first piece of well documented (and surprisingly easy to read) book which was the inspiration of millions of people if not more to take up this particular field of science.
