Madeline is a very popular piece of children's literature. The story is about twelve little girls in two lines who do everything together. The smallest girl of the bunch is little Madeline! Although Madeline is not like all the rest! She is not afraid of mice or tigers, she loves cold weather! One night when the girls went off to bed in their two rows, Miss Clavel woke up in a panic, with the feeling something was not right! She walked into the girls room, to find little Madeline crying! She called the doctor and Madeline was taken to the hospital! She was there for ten days and finally all the girls came to visit! Madeline showed everyone her scar which was the coolest thing of all. When the girls returned home they all wanted to get there appendix out too, so they could be like Madeline! I love this story I think it is so cute! I grew up reading Madeline books, and it was always fun to see what she would do next!
