Really short plot summary: Stereotype gets makeover from one sterotype before falling in love with another.
Southerner Daisy Minor is single, not dating and a librarian. Things seem not to be able to get much worse when she attracts the notice of new police chief Jack Russo, a macho jock Yankee transplant and definitely not her type.
Daisy decides to get a complete makeover from the gay antique dealer (!) and turns herself into a partying club goer. Unbeknownst to her, Jack has been asked to troll local clubs undercover to catch men using date rape drugs on unsuspecting women.
Daisy keeps getting into trouble at the clubs, and Jack keeps coming to her rescue. But then the two fugure out that Daisy witnessed a murder and has become a target. Things heat up suspnse- and romance-wise.
These two banter and fight like Bogie and Bacall, and the white slavery subplot works OK.
