it was amazing

What an adventure Harold and the Purple Crayon can lead you on. I love the idea of going on an adventure with only a crayon. He draws up everything that he wants to see or needs for his other drawings. This book can lead your mind down a wild road of imagination. The book reminds adults (when they are reading this book to their child) that it is very important to use your imagination. With an imagination you can relax, learn and relate to your children. Imagination is also important as an adult because it keeps your mind creative and you might learn more or be more productive when you are creative. Creativity also leads to new inventions, which is always idealistic because hopefully it would make millions of dollars. Harold's creativity and imagination is amazing for such a young child. He knows to draw a monster to protect his apple tree and to draw a boat when he sinks in water. His thought process might be a little unrealistic for a baby, but you honestly never know what a child may be thinking at any given time. The simple pictures in this book also enhance the idea of using your own imagination. There is not much detail, so if you want more, you have to fill it in with your own imagination. I think this book is grate for kids and adult because it displays the importance of the imagination.
