really liked it
Read in January, 2009

** spoiler alert ** Not as accessible or as entertaining as his "Pervert's Guide To The Cinema," but his language lives to drift off into gorgeous and esoteric research-informed speculative certainties that are fun to project into the art forms and depiction of women that are his launching points.

George I've changed my mind about this book, after reading it again for Research purposes. I love the essay on David Lynch, entitled: "David Lynch, Or, The Feminine Depression, and several other essays sprinkled throughout make this book coalesce into something particularly engaging in their ideas about Women.
