really liked it
Read from September 10 to 11, 2012

3.5 rounded up to a 4

I love the Kowalskis and was extremely excited for this new set to come out and while there was nothing wrong with the book, it wasn't my favorite and it definitely took longer to read than the others. I wasn't as drawn to the characters as I was in the past, which is unfortunate because I think this series is a great read in general.

Paige has her own life. She made it and she doesn't need a man, especially not with the way she's grown up - watching her mother chase after men. Mitch Kowalski is the man legends are made of - literally. In the little town of Whitford, all the girls talk about him in the best of ways. The chemistry sparks between them and some rolls in a bed dangle over the line between fun and serious love.

As I said, there aren't any problems with the book. Shannon Stacey's writing is its normal brilliance and the love scenes are sexy but not embarrassing (and I've been getting embarrassed with a lot of them lately). ALL HE EVER NEEDED just didn't hit me as hard as YOURS TO KEEP did(that was the first Kowalski book I read before going back to the beginning).

I'm still looking forward to the next two announced books in the series though!
