    <body><![CDATA[another classic russo, though probably my least favorite, the ending isn't as punchy and is better in it's subtlety. it did haunt me, as each of his books do, but this one more poignantly, about lost love and compromise, and an intimate dissection of fractured families.  russo always digs deep, the vein he hits always makes his books worth it, but this book disappointed, to just about the extent i expected.]]></body>
