I found a brand new hardbound copy of this at the D.I. (our local thrift store), and had always been curious about Sylvia Plath, so I decided to buy it and read it. While this book describes the author's earlier descent into madness, it was told with such clarity of mind, that it almost hard to believe her madness was real. (Of course, she did write it after her recovery). The story was fascinating, really a page turner, and knowing Plath's ultimate fate made it even more compelling.
