I think the sign of a great series is when you love each main character more than the hero from the last book. I thought Ryland was great, but I liked Nico more. But I loved Gator. And who could top the Nortons? Until Jess became my favorite. And then Kadan had to go and top them all...

I too have been waiting forever for the story of Kadan...and I was so not disappointed. Many have said that they found too much sex in this one,and while Feehan did ratchet it up a notch or two, I thought it fit with Kadan's character. As a child, as a soldier, as a man, he has always been a creature of action. The only way he can process the depth of emotion he feels for Tansy is physically. Not only did I love Kadan, but I also very much enjoyed Tansy, which is a great bonus. Add to that a great story, lots of action, and a return of some old favorites, and you have a definite winner.
