Kathy Reichs is an author I would love to meet. Every time I pick up one of her books, I know I'm going to learn something new and cool and geeky. This time, it's about Canada--the First Nation and diamond mining (yes, in Canada of all places). Not to mention awesome factoids such as arsenic being used in embalming fluid because it's such an awesome preserver since it kills every kind of parasitic nasty you can think of. I love that she's a hardcore scientist who can write!
