I like this one better than I have the last few, probably because it is set in Canada. Still, I think her American sensibilities interfere at times. She has one character, a sessional instructor in Environmental Studies, not getting a tenure track job because he was involved in pro-environment protests. In Canada, I think this is more of a plus than a minus, at least among the Environmental Studies profs I know.
