This was a lot of fun. The author loves books and reading (probably kind of obvious, since she's an author, but I digress...) and that shows in her characters. The central idea of reading characters out of a book and into the real world is pretty cool. Capricorn is kind of a simplistic villain, but the central characters of Meggie and Mo and Dustfinger are well done. A good book for anyone, but particularly children, who love to read.
