Joseph Had a Little Overcoat by Simms Taback. This book was fun and kept my attention from start to finish. It was full of bright colors and there was so much to look at on every page. I loved the ideas that Joseph thought of in order to reuse his old overcoat. Every time this piece of clothing would get old and worn, he would make something new out of it. As the story continued, Joseph went from having a little overcoat that was old and worn, to making a button used to fasten his suspenders. Even after the little button went missing, Joseph decided he would then make a book about it. This story definitely proves, "you can always make something out of nothing." It was a cute story that would grab any child's attention and it ends with a great moral that can be useful for people of all ages!
