A fascinating novel based on the life of Willie 'The Actor' Sutton, infamous bank robber of the teens, '20's and beyond. He famously escaped from two prisons, spent years behind bars, and according to the author it was all due to his tragic love for one woman, his beloved Bess. Sad and fascinating, much of this well written novel comes from it's author's imagination, as Willie was unreliable as far as the truth of his life. Highly recommended!
