did not like it
bookshelves: shallow-and-dull
Read in September, 2012

I normally love the books Debbie Macomber writes and was looking forward to this with great anticipation. I was really disappointed. It was disjointed, not much in the way of character development and for some reason my copy was full of typos. It was frustrating to read it. Many many of the pages had visible mistakes, words with numbers instead of letters, incorrect words inserted in sentences that made no sense whatsoever.

I was hoping to see more detail about the inn but it just was not there. While I was reading the book, I kind of felt as if a middle schooler had written it. Bad sentence usage and just did not read well. Not her usual fun book either. And then, the book just ended with not much going on.

This book was just plain disappointing, maybe she should stick with what works best.
