I really enjoyed this picture books about presidents. It's an easy read aloud for elementary students of any age -- with younger students, you can pick and choose which parts are most interesting and with older students, these interesting facts are sure to inspire debate.

What I also liked is that after so many facts were presented about names, pets, ages, and whatnot, Judith St. George wraps up the text with the Presidential Oath and a reminder that being president means making "their first priority...the people and the country they served."

Recommended for all elementary school collections!

I read the version from 2000 but I know that there have been several updates since the original publication.
