CK Kazner’s grandfather blindsides her with an ultimatum. Either she marries within a month and produces an heir within a year or she is disinherited and the family loses the Kazner empire. As the only heir, CK had taken the reins of the family business to expand and promote it and concentrated on running the company, not running after men. When she realizes her grandfather has the upper hand, she enlists Ryan Anderson, her college friend, trusted employee and well-known playboy, to help her find a husband.
Ryan understands how naïve his boss is, but under his tutelage CK’s romantic interests emerge. His friends help to elicit CK’s amorous side as well, a part of herself she didn’t realize she had. She becomes fully awake to sensuality and her ability to evoke it in men.
Readers admire young, independent and determined CK for her wit and gutsy decisions. They recognize her as the 21st century woman——aiming high and achieving success by using her talents and abilities, yet a sensual woman through and through. CK herself comes to realize that romance can be fostered and nurtured. It is a part of being human.
In this second book of the Cinderella Heiresses series, author Judy Teel continues enthralling readers with her strong characters and intriguing plots. Kudos to her for creating the leading women readers can emulate.
Dakota Jamison in “Seducing an Heiress,” the first book in the series, is as memorable and modern as CK.
