It is impossible to go wrong picking up an issue of Brains, especially if you are on the side of the punks in their fight with the Rotters controlling our society. #1 and #2 were very good takes on the zombie genre (disclosure--I helped on the first) and extra fun for punks who would get the in jokes.
#3 comes close to giving lie to my first sentence--but that's because the focus isn't on hardcore punks fighting zombies, but on skinheads fighting zombies (and neo-nazi skins aligned with the undead). There are still clever angles on the unalive and how they operate, some good in-jokes, and some violence. But, well, i guess it is a personal preference, but I don't want to read about skinheads.
Sorry, Jesse.
