liked it
bookshelves: horror
Recommended for: Zombie lovers and Cellphone addicts

This books talks about a phenomenon called The Pulse that turns everyone that uses a cell phone into raving murderous maniacs that talk latin and have psionic superpowers .
Then there's those who don't have a cell phone and therefore need to fight (like hell) to survive.

I actually liked the book.
The orignal idea was good and the characters were enganging. I think I liked them all and that happens rarely to me. Also although it was 470 pages long it was action packed and gorey enough to keep me interested without getting me bored.
However I did have a couple of problems with the plot. Mainly the explanation of what the Pulse did and how it worked. The ending and the reasoning behind it didn't do it for me either.
Still it's a good book and everyone that have a soft spot for King and his apocalyptic plots will love this.
