liked it

this is actually a pretty cool concept--each chapter is dedicated to maintaining a lipogram (E uses only words with "e" in it, etc.) that creates a tonal character profile for each vowel. some of them are clever, but mostly i read this with a great sense of awe. that he even sat own and wrote this is amazing to me. something about these intense formal constraints appeals to me but i'm not sure why.
