The beginning of the book tells of the romance between Yukino's mom and dad, but otherwise this entire book is about Yukino and Soichiro's deepening love for one another and how they might express it. Yukino's very shy and has a hard time telling Soichiro how she feels. Soichiro, on the other hand, remains calm, patiently waiting for her to tell him how she feels until he can't wait any longer and forces her to say it. Their relationship takes a huge leap forward in this book, turning into a beautiful thing.
