Sixteen-year old Epiphany Jones has been uprooted from her small town life to the big city when her mom hooks up with yet another man. She ends up getting hired to cook dinners for an elderly gentleman who resents having her help. The unlikely pair end up forming a bond and sharing quite the adventure. This was a fun, heartwarming read.
