I think that because I've followed all the books regarding The Mephisto Club it was an o.k book. It was a mix of adult and teenage type writing. Rizzoli is investigating the murder of a family which becomes evident that more families have been murdered in the same way, usually leaving behind a child that had been fostered. These children have all ended up in a special school for traumatised victims. The story following the children in Evensong was a bit too much like a young adult book for me. Maura Isles has connections with the school as she was involved with a 16 year old student from a previous case. I like the Rizzoli and Isles books and will buy the next one although Last to Die wasn't my favourite.
