** spoiler alert ** Okay.
I'm really not sure how I feel about this book.
BRR was the last word in badassery. (SHHH. It's a word.) The characters, the storyline- everything combined to make a thrilling, likeable book.
In Rebel Heart? Not so much.
While I still adored some of the side characters (Maev, Emmi and the delightful Slim) Saba just..... annoyed me. For the first third of the book, I could understand why she was so haunted. It was a nice, human emotion that made me say "Aw. Poor Saba."
Then when she didn't pull herself together all the way through the book, I got annoyed.
And sheesh, sleeping with DeMalo? When you know he had a helluva lot of people killed?
A but slaggy, really. Disappointing too, because Saba was more liable when she didn't endlessly angst about how too many men like her. (Jack. DeMalo. Tommo. Three is too many.)

Oh, and Lugh. He's a *word I shouldn't say*
It's ip to you to guess the word.
It's not a positive word.
