I received this book through Goodreads early reads. I felt that the basic premise of the book was very imaginative. I believe this author has the beginnings of a promising career in writing.

I agree with others though that this book could use the services of a professional editor. I found many disconnects, repetitive phrases and a passive voice. I'd like to see the protagonist become a little more sympathetic.

However, the author has filled the story with a cast of unique characters and plenty of suspense.

In the interests of full disclosure I should say that I am a cat-lover and this is not my genre of choice but I feel I was able to remain objective. The descriptions of feline demise turned my stomach but I'm sure horror fans will love it.

The star of the story, in my opinion, was the'66 Mustang. What I wouldn't give to have a one owner Mustang with so few miles!
