The second installment in the Apprenticeship of Victor Frankenstein takes up shortly after the ending of the first novel with the Frankenstein family mourning the loss of their son Konrad and the burning of the Dark Library.
Victor, still believes somehow he can revive his loss brother and when finds that one book does not burn, he stumbles onto the possibility of finding Konrad and bringing him back.
His friends, Elizabeth and Henry, once again join Victor on his quest to ressurect his dead brother. Victor joins with dark forces of the spirit world as his arrogance and genuis weave him through the maze of ancient rites, alchemy and purgatory until he finds Konrad and then the madness of his genuis takes over. Is he doing this to save his brother or only to show he can. Is Victor simply playing GOD?
Dark Endeavor, the first installment of The Apprenticeship Of Victor Frankenstein, was an awesome debut in the series and Such Wicked Intent picks up and barrels ahead at full steam. I recommend highly and cannot wait for book three!
