As always, Kat delivers a well researched and detailed story of the paranormal goings on in the Grey. When a ship that's been missing for 27 years shows up suddenly, Harper gets the job to look into it from the insurance company that's already paid up for the long vanished vessel. Sgt. Rey Solis is also looking into the case and this time, they will have to cooperate in the investigation...but will Solis be able to file a report that consists largely of things that go splash in the night?

These are great books, but they really require one to have read the other books in order to understand just what Harper's job as Greywalker entails. Fortunately, the whole series rocks? And in this book, we get a little more Quentin than we have of late, always a good thing.
