really liked it
bookshelves: short-stories-anthologies
Read in August, 2012

Set two years after Industrial Magic and with a mysterious -possibly mythical- murder investigation as a backdrop, it tells us the stories of Sean and Lucas; two Cabal sons, both struggling in their own way to fit the mold they are raised (and expected) to fit. Like Beginnings it was one of the longest stories of the Tales of the Otherworld anthology, and like Beginnings I would have been willing to buy a book with just either of those stories.
I liked the plot but this story was more character driven and it showed us great insight in Sean and made me love Lucas and Paige even more together.
