I’m enjoying reading this book because even thought it kind of seems he is stretching the evidence a little to cover his theory better, and maybe even making up stories about dreams either he or his patients had, it reads kind of classy. It’s not just that you’ve heard of the book and everybody was influenced by it or was shocked by its controversy, but it’s the way it’s written that makes you see why it was so convincing, because it’s so Victorian-with-scandal and it doesn’t read like it, but you can just put in that Vienna accent and hear Freud reading it to you. It’s a good read.
