it was amazing
bookshelves: read-in-2012, non-fiction
Recommended for: Parents, people interested in child development
Read from October 02 to 05, 2012 — I own a copy , read count: 1

VERY interesting, although some chapters more than others. I particularly liked the insight on language and praise, since I feel like those are the areas where I can have the most influence as a parent. But they were all very interesting. I was astonished to learn that so-called educational children's television has so much effect on relational violence.

I recommend this mostly to parents, but also to anybody who's interested in child/teen development and recent research in education.
