Similar to Demon in the Freezer, Killer Strain chronicles the existing and potential dangers associated with biological weapons. The author of Killer Strain used her background in investigative journalism to trace the paths of the anthrax-laden letters following the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In compelling detail, the author describes the investigations conducted by various state and federal agencies, the missteps that occurred, and the fear experienced by the American public.

There's something comforting to me about knowing the worst-case scenario.
