You have to read this page-turner! This may be my favorite selection for my Book Discussion Group. Two very different women at different stages of their lives intersect and their lives become permanently woven together first by circumstance and later by what can only be called pure love. Surprising, but convincingly done.

This book was much better than Kite Runner in my opinion. I simply could not put it down. Some latter parts of this book restored my faith in humanity, but I won't say any more.
