The beginning of another good fantasy series aimed at teens, this one's engaging and fun and exciting. Seraphina has a secret that colors her world, a world where dragons are sentient but keep themselves aloof from emotion; they can experience the human world by taking people form, and do. They have made a treaty with the human kingdom--no terrorizing or fighting with people, but people have to stay away from their territory and not hunt them down. However, on the anniversary of the treaty, disaster sucks Serafina into trying to save her world, and the prince she falls for. Mature references, but not a bit offensive, just a bit too much for younger pre teens.
