WoW! I've read what I think can be considered "a lot" of Orson Scott books. Though I guess it's only been the Ender and Shadow sagas. But this was totally not what I expected. I can't say that I enjoyed all of it. I laughed a lot, but I found a lot of it to be uncomfortable, actually. At the same time, I would recommend this book to everyone. Seriously awesome, but at times downright difficult to get through. I really enjoyed the different characters, even the downright weird ones, and one thing I love about his novels is Orson Scott Card's way of making the book about so much more than the book is really about. Some authors attempt it, but he fully succeeds. And now I have to say that I've seen a whole different side of Orson Scott Card, and I am not disappointed.
