LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!
I must say that I am sad REMEDY MAKER by SHERI FREDRICKS ended and I had to move on to another book. There was nothing left unanswered. The story was finished beautifully. I just didn't want it to end. I loved the characters so much that I was really sad to say goodbye to them. I have never read about Centaurs or Wood Nymphs before and I was so intrigued with them and their quirkiness and at times outright volatile emotions. What a gift Ms. Fredricks has for storytelling.
I have wanted to read REMEDY MAKER since I first heard about it. What happened when I finally had some personal time to read it? I was not disappointed in the least. It was such an amazing page turner, I found that my finger would hit the screen to turn the page way before it should have. I can't tell you how many times I had to reverse a page on my Kindle because my very excited finger couldn't keep still long enough for me to actually finish reading the page I was on because I just couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
I found the character of Rycious, the Remedy Maker, magical in the way Ms. Fredricks wrote him. He's gorgeous, man by day, centaur by night, the pillar of strength and yet so fragile. He broke my heart. Then you have Patience, the very ill wood nymph with a beautiful, loving spirit and the vocabulary of Snoop Dogg. I LOVED IT!
Another very intriguing storyline of the book that I thought was brilliant is that it's written in present day. These mythological beings live among unknowing humans and must keep their identities hidden from the human hunters. This is just another fantastic storyline in a book that is jam packed with amazing storylines. Ms. Fredricks has the ability to weave multiple intricate and detailed storylines together flawlessly and I am literally on pins and needles waiting to read whatever else she writes.
My advice to anyone that enjoys fantasy, romance, mythological creatures and some really great sex, is to pick this book up immediately! This book was filled with fresh and new things for me and I really loved reading it.
