really liked it

Kephart writes in a beautifully, elegant way that usually takes focus and concentration to follow along with. Her characters are complex, thoughtful, and woven together in a way that makes the story compelling and heartwarming. My only complaint..sad. It's all so sad. It's realistic portrayal of the way we come into adulthood is accurate and unnerving. It's what I imagine life to be like once the rose-colored glasses come off. With the increase of age, comes a decrease in optimism. Natural and realistic, like I said. But so, so sad.
