This is the second Sarah Vowell book that I've read and I enjoyed it almost as much as the first, Assassination Vacation. While this book lacks the focus of topic the other one had, it does an excellent job of capturing the feelings of twenty-something liberal America at the turn of the 21st Century.

If my son were to ask what I was doing or thinking around that period, this book would depict them well.
