** spoiler alert ** This cat's sociopolitical commentary kept me enthralled for 900+ pages. Sarcastic and poignant observation of the trivialities of humans. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand how the cat lost his will to live at the end... I felt that I had grown to know him, and he seemed like a fighter. He was too resigned to his fate. But he had a full life.

words by the eye full understand that he was too weak in action though, that it seemed easier to walk away- things he couldn't change and the annoyance of ignorance.
