Holy crap, what did I just read?

So dreadful, yet I couldn't put it down.

Brutal, horrific, and probably very realistic should an entire population of high school students suddenly find themselves quarantined together in a limited space. Tribes - you got it. Violence, sex, desperation - yep, it's all there (though I did appreciate the availability of condoms and the willingness to use them).

Jealousy, bad decisions, noble gestures...

Not for the squeamish, not for middle school students. This book made No Safety in Numbers - where folks are quarantined in a mall - look like a walk in the park.

And I love how the jocks are always the bad guys...
