Read in January, 2003 , read count: twice

I remember reading this for a book club my mom started once at my elementary school. We'd sit outside the library, from all different grades, during lunchtime, and read our books.

Carry On, Mr. Bowditch. There's something about it that seems very potent and full. It's not a very hard read, about a mathematician who worked in shipping, and his life. There were some parts of the book where I felt crying, but I'm glad I did.

Dave I read it back when I was in 6th grade. I enjoyed it tremendously. I suspect it helped form my feelings about historical fiction, and applied mathematics.
