This book was loaned to me by my neighbor a few months ago who thought I would like it. I kept putting it off, but finally started it a couple of weeks ago and loved it!

This book is a non-fiction book about a man who decides to hike all 2,100 miles of the Appalachian Trail. He alternates between talking about his experience hiking the trail and the history of the trail and other locations along the way. He has a great sense of humor and his story telling is witty and smart. I came away feeling that I read a great book and learned a lot about our government and forest preservation and some history of the trail. It's a great book for outdoor enthusiasists or those just looking for a good story.
