I did enjoy this book and the ultimate resolution is, perhaps, the way I wanted it to turn out. So why am I not rating it higher?

I don't know. While this book, as well as the first book The Sunday Philosophy Club, definitely has moments that I find greatly amusing, overall I just wasn't that thrilled by it. It is a good book, but I guess only for certain readers.
