it was amazing

This is the first courtroom novel I ever read, and 20 years later it's still far and away the best. The pacing, characters, plotting, and a monstrous twist at the end make this a must-read for any fan of the genre. The courtroom scenes are truly the highlight. If you've only seen the movie version, don't cheat yourself. There is so much more in the novel that didn't make it onto the screen (although, as film adaptations go, it wasn't a bad movie).
